Leafly avoids the snack’s name. Its Gushers page is titled TK41, which Leafly explains as short for Triangle Kush × Gelato 41, and says the strain goes by a popular fruit snack name it won’t mention for legal reasons; another Leafly page calls “Gushers” an infringing name. Usually, yes. Leafly lists White Gushers and White Gusherz as other names for Gushers, and Weedmaps says many dispensaries sell Gushers as White Gushers; AllBud files White Gushers separately, as a frosty phenotype of Gushers.1,4,18
Accounts differ. Weedmaps, Westword and SeedFinder credit Cookie Fam Genetics, the Bay Area breeders who made Girl Scout Cookies popular; High Times wrote in 2019 that Kush4Breakfast bred it from Cookie Family’s Gelato #41 and a Triangle Kush from Florida; Leafly lists the breeder as unknown.1,2,4,9,11

Gushers itself has not appeared in the best-seller rankings we checked: Leafly’s national dispensary orders for 2025 and Headset’s California flower top 10s for 2024 and 2025.19,20,21 Its record is one of reputation: 10th place in the licensed outdoor category at the 2018 Emerald Cup, a spot on High Times’ 2019 list of 20 trending strains, compiled from what readers searched for and asked about, and a place on Leafly’s list of cultivars trending up in 2021, which called it a California staple still migrating across the US “at a notable clip”.10,11,22 In 2019 Westword counted 11 Colorado dispensaries carrying some form of it.2
Its descendants sell. Gush Mintz, Purple City Genetics’ cross of Kush Mints with the combination of F1 Durb and TK41, was California’s ninth best-selling flower strain from January to November 2024, with $8.9 million in sales, and a nominee for Leafly’s Strain of the Year 2025; it dropped out of the California top 10 in 2025.20,21,23,24,25 In July 2026 Leafly’s 100 best strains of all time listed TK41 among its picks for feeling euphoric.26
